As many of you know- the new Iron Man movie has just been released recently. I for one, have not seen it yet, but I am very excited because I am planning to very soon!
Coming from a Male’s perspective, who doesn’t think a giant suit of armor that will make you into a super hero is cool? I was looking into all stuff Iron Man related and I came across a Popular Science article… as it turns out, the concept of Iron man isn’t so far fetched after all.
Forget the exoskeletons you’ve have seen or heard about in the past where its heavy, slow and basically all it does is help you walk. Slowly.
This exoskeleton named XOS, is currently being funded by the government (for obvious reason), and its agile, and strong… capable of giving anyone superhuman strength while losing none of the speed and mobility that a normal person possess. Enough from me, just watch the video:
Impressive isn’t it? Now all it needs is a power source, and some armor plating
Oh boy.
On the other hand, Costume SuperCenter have just got its first shipment of Iron Man costumes, go ahead and check it out if you want to be the first Iron Man for Halloween.
Lastly, here is the link to the article if you want more technical read up on it.
